Non Sequitur
Non sequitur: Latin phrase that means “that which does not follow”. It means that the conclusion reached does not follow from the premise(s). The use of non sequitur can be deliberate or unintentional. A non sequitur can denote an abrupt, illogical, unexpected or absurd turn of plot or dialogue not normally associated with or appropriate to that preceding it.
